The Meat Trade Institute Trust, with the aid of Abrams, Gavin
& Vogel, Inc. (AGV), has created an insurance package, specifically designed for members of the
association. Each member's firm will be addressed on an individual basis, so as to
create a benefit plan which is ideal for that firm based upon its age, location and cost.
If you are already insured for life,
disability and long term care, "Prime Selections" is likely to be less costly
and improve the quality of your protection. If you are not insured, "Prime
Selections" can provide what we believe is valuable cost-effective protection for you
and your family.
Health Insurance
The plan provides a choice of premier health
carriers for your locality offering high quality coverage and service. The plans
have unlimited maximum benefits and coinsurance with a stop loss feature limiting your
exposure to $1000 out-of-pocket over the deductible.
Group Life
The plan includes discounted group term life
insurance at savings of up to 25% over other comparable coverage.
Voluntary/Group Dental
The plan offers a full range of benefits for
preventative, basic and major services as well as coverage for orthodontia. Maximums
can be as high as $2500 annually per individual.
Group Long Term Disability (LTD)
The plan provides you a monthly income of
60% of your earnings, up to a maximum of $60,000 annually. You will save 20% to 25%
over other comparable programs.
Life Insurance
We offer only the top insurance carriers
with the highest ratings to insure financial security with the insurance company for your
protection.
Individual Disability
Plans will provide for monthly income if you
are disabled and can not work. As a member you will receive a 10% discount on
comparable coverage.
Business Overhead Insurance
A monthly benefit will be paid to cover the
expenses of running your business should you become disabled. Expenses include rent,
utilities and more. Premiums are tax deductible.
Long Term Care
Nursing Home Coverage provides a monthly
benefit which will be paid when you are in a nursing home. Home Health Care provides
a benefit for those who choose to receive care anywhere other than a nursing home or
hospital. Savings of 15% are offered to members.
