990752 Cattlemen Speak Out On South Dakota Ruling

South Dakota cattlemen are responding to a ruling on Senate Bill 95, the mandatory price reporting law.

Cattlemen's Association President Cal Sandmeier said the decision to strike down the price discrimination portion of the law should provide some relief to the state's cattle feeders.

The court overturned the discrimination language in the law. But it also upheld the mandatory price disclosure forcing buyers to report the price paid for livestock in South Dakota.
