090128 Omni Hotels Adds 50% stake in Bob's Steak House

(Food Business) -- Omni Hotels has acquired a 50% stake in the Bob's Steak & Chop House brand. The hotel company has said that it will open more Bob's Steak & Chop House locations in 2009.

Bob's currently has restaurants in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex as well as at the Omni San Francisco Hotel. New restaurants will be opened at the Omni Tucson National Resort and the Omni Fort Worth Hotel in January 2009. Additional locations at Omni Hotels as well as free-standing sites are also under consideration in markets across the US, Omni Hotels said.
