030740 Meat Processor to Bring 400 Jobs To TulsaJuly 19, 2003Owasso, OK - Four hundred new jobs will be moving to the Tulsa area soon. Owasso's largest employer, National Steak and Poultry Incorporated, will be adding new workers. The company processes and packs beef, poultry and pork. The products are sold to retailers, like Wal-Mart stores and restaurants, including Applebee's and Camille's Sidewalk Cafe. The meat processor signed on to the Quality Jobs Program in 1996. That program gives companies economic incentives to relocate or expand in Oklahoma.
