030201 Foster Farms Debuts New Poultry Packaging

Livingston, CA - Foster Farms, the largest poultry producer in the West, has redesigned its packaging for the company's fresh line of poultry products. The attractive new design emphasizes the "Locally Grown" and "Fresh" messaging of the Foster Farms brand, provides easier-to-read product descriptors, and features important nutritional information and delicious, wholesome chicken recipes.

The new design enhances the appearance of the fresh meat cuts, using eye-catching shades of blue and green against an idyllic background farm scene. Foster Farms' products featuring the new design are now available at grocery stores and warehouse clubs throughout the West.

A recent survey of California consumers found that an overwhelming number preferred the new packaging to the former design. The same survey revealed that the new design increased purchase intent, allowed ease of identifying the brand in the meat case, and visually complemented the qualities of the Foster Farms brand. The new packaging was designed by San Francisco-based PrimoAngeli: fitch, a premier global branding and design consultancy.
