001269 USDA Subsidizes 72 Tons of Poultry to MideastDecember 30, 2000Washington - The U.S. Agriculture Department said it had subsidized a sale of 72 tonnes of frozen poultry to Middle East countries. USDA paid a subsidy of $625 per tonne to Tyson Foods Inc. The total subsidy value was $45,000.
