The awards were presented on March 6 at ceremonies held in Carnegie Hall in New York City. Red Oak Farms' products were chosen as winners over a large selection of products from the premier food companies in the United States. The Executive Chefs who comprise the Board of Directors of the American Tasting Institute (“ATI”) conduct blind tasting as part of their participation in the ATI. Red Oak Farms' Premium Hereford Beef was awarded “Best of the Show” in the Hotel and Restaurant division, as well as the Supermarket division. Red Oak has some of the most prestigious restaurants and country clubs in the United States serving its products. Red Oak Farms' Premium Beef also won “Best of Show” for their 1 lb. and their 6 oz. pre-cooked microwaveable Pot Roasts, as well as their Barbecue Boneless Ribs with Cookie's Barbecue Sauce. This year's awards were the largest held in fourteen years -- with 56 national brands being recognized, along with 84 regional brands. Red Oak Farms is rolling out nationally its first four pre-cooked items which include: 1 lb. Pot Roast; 1 lb. Tri-Tip Sirloin; 1 lb. Boneless Short Ribs with Cookie's Barbecue Sauce and Portion-Size Pot Roast in four 6-oz. individually wrapped servings. Additional pre-cooked items will be introduced later in the year.
