 991219 E-Coli Death Reported in ArizonaDecember 10, 1999 Phoenix, AZ - State health officials say a 75-year-old Maricopa County man has died from the E-Coli virus and at least two other cases are being tracked. Ground beef, lettuce and cheese stored in a warehouse that distributes food to Taco Bell restaurants is being tested. Taco Bell says so far, there's no link between the fast-food chain and these illnesses.
