991107 E.coli Traced to Wild Game in IdahoNovember 3, 1999Boise, ID - Central District Health officials say they have traced six E- coli cases in the Boise area to processed meat from wild game. Pepperoni and jerky picked up at Meridian Meat and Sausage could be contaminated by the E-coli bacteria. Health officials say anyone who got meat from the Meridian store between October 13th and 15th should not eat it... get rid of it. All six of the people who got sick are now recovering.
