991023 Ground Beef Recall Continues in ColoradoOctober 9, 1999Colorado - A statewide recall of ground beef sold at the King Soopers and City Market stores continues. Ten-tons of ground beef were re-called when a random test turned up potentially fatal E-coli bacteria. King Soopers spokeswoman Donna Giordano says the affected meat, which has a sell-by date of October fifth, can be returned for a refund. Giordano is also urging the public to cook all meat to at least 163-degrees to make sure it's safe.
