Washington - The U-S House has approved a proposal to investigate pork industry pricing practices. North Carolina pork producers have seen prices plummet as much as 70-percent in the past year, but prices remain unchanged at grocery stores. Congressman Bob Etheridge of Lillington says it's time to get to the bottom of the pricing puzzle. If the Senate approves the bill, the U-S Department of Agriculture would begin an investigation.
