Indianapolis, IN - Falling hog prices have some Indiana farmers on the brink of financial disaster and they want lawmakers to step in and do something about it. In a letter to Senator Richard Lugar... the chairman of the Senate Agriculture Committee... the Indiana Farmers Union is asking for a hearing to investigate why hog prices have dipped to a 34-year low. Senator Lugar is expected to address Indiana farmers this evening at the state's Farm Bureau Convention in Indianapolis.
