Red Oak, Iowa - Red Oak Hereford Farms, Inc., exclusive distributors of Certified Hereford Beef worldwide, reported on the progress of their core Branded Beef Business and its "Here's the Beef" mail order venture. Using the recognition received as the American Tasting Institute's Best Restaurant Beef in America for 1997 and 1998 and Best Supermarket Beef in America for 1998 and testimonials from satisfied retail supermarket chains, Red Oak has expanded into over 100 retail supermarkets. It has also increased the age of its product sold under its premium Red Oak Farms' Certified Hereford Beef label.
Red Oak kicked off its "Here's the Beef" mail order venture with a steak dinner party at the KatManDu Restaurant in Philadelphia where several segments of its upcoming infomercial were videotaped. Joe Roberts, Red Oak's Marketing Vice President, said, The "Here's the Beef" infomercial and marketing program will begin offering Red Oak Certified Hereford Beef in the Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and New York City test markets in early September.
