Denison, IO - The demand for precooked pepper bacon continues to grow driven by the demand for new products in a competitive environment. Purity Farms has been a major manufacturer and supplier of precooked pepper bacon to restaurant chains, including Denny's.
Denny's, the nation's largest full-service family restaurant, has introduced a Southwestern Jack Burger which features precooked pepper bacon. The Southwestern Jack Burger is one of several new Major League Burgers available this summer at Denny's more than 1,600 restaurants across the country.
Foodservice and retail chains are finding that pepper bacon adds “flavor” value to their products, and can be easily implemented into their current operations. Pepper bacon slices are used to top hamburgers, chicken sandwiches and subs, and to wrap beef, chicken and seafood entree meats.
Demand is also developing for diced pepper bacon as a flavor enhancing ingredient mixed in hamburger meat, scrambled eggs, omelets, casseroles and rice mixes; stuffed in poultry products, burritos and wraps; and topped on potatoes, salads and pizzas.
