Vancouver, British Columbia - Fletcher's Fine Foods Ltd., announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Harvest Meats Co. Ltd. of Yorkton, Saskatchewan signed a five year agreement with the Harvest Meats Employees Association.
The agreement offers Harvest's employees a competitive wage and benefit package, including a share purchase plan and a profit sharing plan.
Starting rates over the five year term of the agreement will vary, based on job classification, from $6.30 to $7.84 per hour. Hourly rates for employees with five years experience will range from $7.75 to $14.07 depending on job classification.
“We are delighted with the agreement,” said Fred Knoedler, President & C.E.O., of Fletcher's. “This contract means that we now have a stable labor environment at a key meat processing plant. The Yorkton plant is virtually brand new and with a competitive labor package, it is well positioned to receive additional capital for expansion in the near future.”

Harvest Meats produces high quality specialty meat products under the Harvest brand name.
Fletcher's has been engaged in the food business since 1917. It has ten manufacturing facilities located throughout Western Canada and the U.S. Pacific Northwest.
