Los Angeles - McDonald's is re-introducing its popular sourdough bacon burger for a limited time at participating Southern California McDonald's restaurants beginning February 27.
The sourdough bacon burger has a quarter-pound all beef patty, two slices of Swiss cheese, tender round bacon, two slices of ripe tomato and a dash of mayonnaise, all on toasted sourdough.
"Our customers enjoy the variety of our specialty sandwiches like the sourdough bacon burger," said Mike Mangione, Jr., president of McDonald's Operators' Association of Southern California (MOASC). "We think it's an unbeatable combination of a great value and a proven taste that Southern Californians enjoy."
The sourdough bacon burger will sell for the everyday value price of $1.59 and will also be available in an Extra Value Meal featuring large McDonald's "world-famous" french fries and a medium soft drink for only $2.99.
At McDonald's, customers can get great taste at a great value all day, every day. The MOASC is comprised of more than 500 franchised and company-owned restaurants throughout the Southern California five-county area of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura.
