OMAHA, NE - ConAgra, Inc. has acquired Zoll Foods Corporation in a stock transaction. Terms were not disclosed.
Zoll Foods, based in Chicago, is a privately owned processor and marketer of custom-cut pork ribs and other pork products for the foodservice industry. Annual sales are about $100 million. Zoll will become part of ConAgra's Swift & Co., a leading producer and marketer of pork products.

ConAgra is an international diversified food company headquartered in Omaha. Sales in fiscal 1997 (ended May 1997) were $24 billion. Swift & Co., a ConAgra independent operating company, is headquartered in Greeley, Colo.
