SPRINGDALE, Ark - Tyson Foods Inc said Monday it has applied to have its stock listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
Pending approval, the company said it expects its shares to begin trading on the exchange beginning Oct. 17 under the symbol TSN.
Tyson, the poultry producer, currently trades on Nasdaq under the symbol TYSNA.
