Leather Restoration & Maintenance
Restoring Leather Furniture "Like-New!"

We know that high quality leather furniture contributes to the image of your
company and is a significant investment. Protect that investment with CMI's exclusive
services:
Cleaning and Conditioning:
Regular cleaning removes surface dirt and foreign oils. This prevents the dirt
and oils from migrating into leather causing damage to the dyes (color) and fibers
(structural strength of leather). Conditioning replaces the natural oils to the fibers
protecting flexibility and strength.
Complete Restoration:
Restoring leather furniture to a "like new" condition. All damaged
areas are repaired and the old finish is removed. The color is matched to the original and
applied to the surface along with a new topcoat replicating the process done by the
tannery.
Color Change:
The leather is restored with all damaged areas repaired and the old finish is
removed. A new color (selected by the client) is applied with a new topcoat.
Selective Reupholstery:
When leather is damaged beyond repair, that section may be replaced. The
new panel of leather is precisely color matched to the original. Usually the damaged area
represents a small percentage of the total leather covering the furniture. Significant
savings can be realized through this process.
